There is an additional cost for filing the application and obtaining a background check (by means of fingerprinting). Then, after the applicant completes the course and pays the application fee, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation needs to approve the application. After approval, the applicant must register and pass for an examination administered by a Pearson Vue testing center. Applicants that are able to meet all these requirements are granted a sales associate license in the State of Florida.
