In case you didn’t realize, we’re still in celebration of International Women’s Month. With that, we reached out to another influential #womanofpower, Diane P. Perez, Esq.
Diane P. Perez is a Florida Board Certified Labor and Employment Law attorney. Diane is the owner of Diane Perez, PA. She practices exclusively in the area of labor and employment law, representing both employers and employees in federal and state courts and before federal, state and local agencies. Diane focuses her practice on a wide-variety of labor and employment matters, including matters arising under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, and the FLSA, among others. Admitted to the state bar of Florida in 2007 after graduating with high honors from the University of Miami School of Law, Diane was named a “Rising Star” by Florida Super Lawyers from 2012 through 2017 and a Super Lawyer in 2018. Diane is also AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Diane has and continues to be actively involved in local bar organizations. Diane is the current President of the Coral Gables Bar Association.

1. What, or who, are you a “closet” fan of?
My mom.
2. What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?
Jig saw puzzles.
3. What is the most annoying question that people ask you?
If my name is Diana.
4. Name two things you consider yourself to be very good at.
Cleaning and organizing.
5.What’s a favorite family memory that has stuck with you into your adult life? Why?
Our road trips up north. There were six of us in one car for 20 plus hours. I learned a lot about family, love, and patience!
6. What would you do with your “15 minutes” of fame?
Auction it off to someone who really wants it. All of the proceeds to be donated to charity.
7. Have you ever won anything? What was it?
The Worst Driver Superlative in High School.
8. Who would you choose to be your mentor, if you had the choice?
Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
9. What’s your most significant current challenge?
Being both a working mom, wife, and a busy litigator.
