Miami has been developing as an entrepreneurial mecca for quite a few years now. With each uprise of movement, there are people behind it that are substantial contributors. One such contributor is our friend, Spencer Lyon. His entrepreneurial spirit is contagious and trust us when we say, encouraging.
Spencer is a person that likes to thinks outside of the triangle. As a rare Miami native, he has developed a deep love for South Florida and seeing it grow even more than it already has. Spencer has always been the type to go out of his way to help others and believes that true leaders pull others towards success. His efforts are currently focused on his recent entrepreneurial endeavor, RealDAX. Tackling a massive problem in the Real Estate Industry when it comes to finding, evaluating and acquiring the best residential property deals with just a few clicks rather than multiple months.
1. What, or who, are you a “closet” fan of?
I’m a closet fan of fine dining. I’m blown away by what people can do with food and the experience that come along with it.
2. What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?
Either geek out with my developers about what we’re building with realDAX or watch videos of exotic food techniques from around the world
3. What is the most annoying question that people ask you?
How old are you…? DOES IT REALLY MATTER!!! sorry lost my cool there…
4. Name two things you consider yourself to be very good at.
Networking / Thinking creatively
5.What’s a favorite family memory that has stuck with you into your adult life? Why?
Going to siesta key, FL and spending countless hours on the beach.
6. What would you do with your “15 minutes” of fame?
Figure out how to make it last longer than 15 minutes.
7. Have you ever won anything? What was it?
I won 2nd place in the Jr. Olympics for judo #randomfunfact
8. Who would you choose to be your mentor, if you had the choice?
I’m torn between Aristotle or Elon Musk
9. What’s your most significant current challenge?
Growing my company on a national level so we can help real estate professionals and change the industry for the better. (I like to reach for the stars)
