She leverages her business background in finance, operations, and risk management with her legal experience to provide her clients with perceptive general counsel insight that drives revenue. Ms. Nazzaro counsels her clients from a business-centered approach drawing on her unique experience as an entrepreneur and executive.
Ms. Nazzaro has worked with clients to successfully develop and execute business strategies that led to explosive revenue growth and scalable legal systems. As part of the overall business and exit strategies, she has negotiated multi-million dollar federal and foreign government contracts, teaming agreements, strategic agreements, and asset purchase agreements. She started her practice in 2006 advising high-growth technology and bio-tech companies and their venture capital and private capital investors. While in law school, Ms. Nazzaro founded a development and management consulting firm serving the nonprofit sector. Within several years, the firm expanded to serve high-growth technology companies where she advised CEOs and lead investors on major negotiation strategies related to business development and investor strategies. From 2015-2019, Ms. Nazzaro was the lead in-house attorney and VP of finance for an international development law firm responsible for global risk management, compliance, and worldwide government procurement. Ms. Nazzaro has also served as general counsel for a pre-revenue ancillary commercial cannabis business that educates and certifies risk management professionals in the commercial cannabis industry. She helps clients understand how to effectively integrate legal insights into operational management and why it is important that legal functions should not sit divorced from other business functions.
After completing her Business Honors Program degree at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas as Austin, Ms. Nazzaro attended the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, DC. Ms. Nazzaro is a proud member of Chief, a private network of executive women.
