Ryan obtained his Juris Doctorate, graduating magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, Ryan was a Dean’s Merit Scholar, served as the Senior Writing Editor for the University of Miami Business Law Review, obtained the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Concentration Certificate, and was awarded the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award in Property.
After obtaining his JD, Ryan began his legal career at the Miami Dade Public Defender’s Office, where he represented clients in both circuit and county court. During his time at the Public Defender’s Office, Ryan gained valuable litigation skills by conducting depositions, writing and litigating various motions, and trying cases to verdict in both jury and bench trials.
Prior to joining EPGD, Ryan further honed his skills at a civil defense firm in Coral Gables, representing clients in a wide range of cases, including, but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, professional liability, breach of contract, construction defects, products liability, and negligent security.
