Sharon, originally from Aventura, FL, is an accomplished individual with a strong academic and professional background. She earned her BA in Sociology and Criminology with a minor in Russian from the University of Florida Honors Program, followed by an MS in Management from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business.
Sharon’s legal experience is extensive and varied. Prior to attending law school, she served as a Legal Research Intern at the University of Florida Student Legal Services, where her research on misdemeanor crime rates during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic was published in the UF Journal of Undergraduate Research. She also interned at the Judge Stephan P. Mickle, Sr. Criminal Court House for The Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida as a Judicial Intern, and gained international experience as a Summer Legal Intern at a boutique law firm in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
Dedicated to community service, Sharon has set a personal goal of completing 75 pro bono hours by her law school graduation. She has already achieved 25 hours by working with various organizations to expunge criminal records, restore voting rights for felons, and help immigrants achieve naturalization. She plans to continue her commitment by participating in the Children and Youth Law Clinic throughout the 2024-25 school year.
Sharon is particularly interested in learning more about Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) this summer, showcasing her open-minded approach to expanding her legal expertise. Fluent in Russian, she brings valuable language skills to her professional repertoire.
In her personal life, Sharon enjoys going on scenic walks and traveling. She lives by the motto, “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle,” by Albert Einstein. Sharon’s diverse experiences and dedication to both her profession and community make her a well-rounded and dynamic individual.
