Before then, she was born in Boston, MA, and spent the latter part of her childhood in Westfield, NJ, where she attended Westfield High School. At UM, she was President of the National Organization for Women, and has been on this club’s Executive Board throughout her undergraduate career. She will apply to law school after a gap year, with interests in litigation, social justice, and most specifically, reproductive rights law.
Sloane personally values tenacity and Tikkun Olam (repairing the world). She fostered her appreciation for tenacity after running track in high school as captain.
